Madison Square Garden, Inc. (NASDAQMSG), is an American entertainment promotion company, headquartered in New York, New York. The company spun off from Cablevision on February 9, 2010.

Divisions

In addition to owning the Madison Square Garden arena in Manhattan, New York City, Madison Square Garden, Inc. is divided into three entities:

Madison Square Garden, L.P. used to operate the Hartford Civic Center (now the XL Center), an indoor arena in Hartford, Connecticut and Rentschler Field, a stadium in East Hartford under contract with the state of Connecticut until the 2007 season when it was replaced by Northland/Anschutz Entertainment Group.[1][2] Madison Square Garden, L.P., currently has the option to purchase the L.A. Forum from its current owner Faithful Central Bible Church of Inglewood CA. If the terms of the agreement are met, MSG can purchase the Forum for $23 Million.[3]
